Allston Pudding Marathon Relief Mixtape

It has been an emotionally difficult week as we’ve struggled to make sense of the attacks on innocent people at the Boston Marathon. As musicians and artists, we immediately become filled with doubt about the value of our contributions of art to the world. We feel as if we should postpone participation in the celebration of creative work, but at the same time, it’s the only thing we have to help us get through difficult times. The music community in Boston has worked tirelessly to figure out how to help out, seeking ways to provide relief for those injured in the attacks.  Allston Pudding has put together a 130-track compilation of local artists to collect money for the One Fund. Please consider buying this pay-what-you-want (above $1) collection. Track 42 (my favorite number!) is https://mjeml.michaeljepstein.com/‘s “The Violinist.”
